What customers say?

“ Served by Gifford. Very friendly, kind and professional service. Took his time to explain and help us with the menu, made us comfortable in the restaurant. Chef CK & Chef Sheng both whipped up very good dishes. Based on their recommendations the swordfish and pork rack were amazing. Melts in your mouth kind-of amazing. Wagyu burger wasn't fantastic but great for its price point. Would still recommended these dishes. Everything u see set is back $137.90 inclusive of taxes. Definitely coming back to try their sirloin & the lamb skewers. Would also mention trying their communal menu for the brioche bun that goes so well with their butter. Something about this pairing that got me completely sold to just order an alacarte bun. It was pricey for a single piece of bun but I was sold after trying it. ”

“ Food: Dishes were all cooked well and tasted great. We liked the salt cured kangaroo particularly. Portions were all on the smaller side though. Ambience: Nice and ‘private’ on the 51st floor with nice views of the skyline, however views were semi-restricted by the building’s greenery. There is a sky garden that is free for diners which has better views and makes for a really nice post-dinner walk. Service: Nelson our server was very attentive and helpful, and made our experience very enjoyable! ”

“ Food was great except the sirloin appears to be cooked with a greater fire which kind of made the skin a tad too tough but otherwise the sirloin was pretty great. The Parker brioche was one of the highlights, really soft and fragrant paired with an amazing kombu butter. The yakitori and pork skewers were fantastic, soft, tender and flavorful. We also gotten the pork rack which was also soft and delicious. Did not have any porky taste at all. Gifford, Chef CK, Chef Seng and Chef Sheng did a wonderful job overall. They even prepared a cake to celebrate the birthday! Really great service and food overall! Will come back for the bread!! ”

“ Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Great view, great food and the best of all, best service. We ordered some starters and main course of pork, chicken and wagyu. The food were great and the beef was exceptional! We were served by Gifford, Nelson, and Chong. all of whom made our dinner a really memorable one! ”

“ Views were obscured. Must strain to see MBS. Food was tasty but flavours were weird. Atmosphere was alright but definitely not a fine dining romantic place. Was expecting a more private and posh setting to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Service was so awkward all around, quite a mood killer. Table lamps kept running out of batt and turning off after a few mins. Whiskey cocktail was just whiskey on rocks, underwhelming. Red wine (shiraz) was bold with good mouth feel but not spicy at all, lacked character. Complimentary cake was provided for our wedding anniversary, nice gesture. Bill came up to sgd100 for 2 of us. No max dining in time, we lounged around long after our meal was done. Can come here for special occasions but don't expect lux. ”

“ Highly recommend with all my heart! We recently dined at this restaurant as customers from Poland, and it was a true feast for the senses! We ordered several dishes, and every single one was absolutely wonderful – fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. Huge praise for the service-the waiters Nelson and Mex are real stars! They were incredibly kind, professional, with a great sense of humor, and took care of every detail. Thanks to them, we felt truly special – their warmth and attention to guests will stay in our memory for a long time. And the cherry on top is that incredible view from the very top of the city at night-the twinkling lights below create a magical atmosphere that's impossible to forget. If you're looking for a place for a special dinner, this is the perfect spot ”

“ I was recently taken to a birthday dinner by my lovely friends as planned at Sol & Luna, CapitaSpring but unfortunately our prepaid reservation could not be found upon arrival due to a booking platform issue. It was a stressful start to what was supposedly be a special evening that took some time to clarify. That said, the restaurant manager, Keisha, handled the situation professionally with genuine care and promptly arranged a thoughtful service recovery at their sister restaurant, Kaarla, within the same building. The team truly turned the evening around — we were treated to champagne, additional dishes, and a beautifully presented surprise birthday cake. The front-of-house staff were warm, attentive, and made the celebration feel extra special despite the initial hiccup. While the reservation issue was disappointing, the way it was resolved — especially by Keisha with her sincerity — left a very positive impression. Excellent recovery with heartfelt hospitality and the food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back for more. ”

“ Kaarla Woodfire Grill and Bar strikes that rare balance between polished and relaxed — the kind of place where you can comfortably linger over a long dinner without it ever feeling stiff. The woodfire cooking gives everything a quiet confidence, letting the ingredients speak for themselves. The Wagyu skewers were the standout for me: beautifully charred on the outside with that unmistakable smokiness from the grill, yet still buttery and tender inside. Each bite had that rich, almost decadent depth that good Wagyu should deliver, but without being overly heavy. The cod was equally impressive in a different way. Delicately cooked with a gentle flake, it carried just enough woodfire aroma to elevate the fish without overwhelming its natural sweetness. It’s the kind of dish that feels simple at first glance but clearly shows careful technique. Overall, Kaarla feels like a very classy place to hang out — refined but not pretentious — perfect for a long evening with good food, a drink in hand, and unhurried conversation. One small note though: if your party is quite large (say 10 or more), seating might get a little tricky as the space feels better suited to smaller groups, so it’s worth planning ahead. ”
